As both Lex and Nicole are members of the North Carolina Film Critics Association, it felt right to share the announcement of their nominations for their Best of 2023 Awards. We will also share their winners when they are announced on January 3, 2024.
The North Carolina Film Critics Association (NCFCA) is made up of 72 film critics who live in or work in North Carolina. Oppenheimer and Barbie lead with 29 combined nominations. Killers of the Flower Moon and Poor Things garnered 11 nominations each while Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse recorded nine.
