Nicole and Dan are both members of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, so we’re sharing their nominations for their Dorian Film Awards. We’ll be back on February 26 with their winners.
GALECA is comprised of over 500 entertainment critics and journalists who cover television, film, and theater and identify as LGBTQ+. The membership is located mostly in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. The awards are named in honor of Oscar Wilde’s titular character of The Picture of Dorian Gray.
The nominations for the awards honoring the films of 2023 were led by Andrew Haigh’s beautiful and haunting All of Us Strangers, with Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, Todd Haynes’s May December, and Celine Song’s Past Lives also garnering several nominations each.
