Del Water Gap, the indie pop project of Brooklyn-bred artist Samuel Holden Jaffe embarks on his latest headlining tour in promotion of his newest album, Chasing The Chimera.

The tour kicked off in Raleigh North Carolina’s venue, The Ritz on January 15, 2026, and was met with enthusiasm from both crowd and artist alike.

After being properly warmed up by supporting artist Hannah Jadagu, the audience was treated to an explosive light show that brought out Jaffe, as he opened his set with “Small Town Joan of Arc.”

What followed was a perfectly paced set that had the crowd singing, dancing, and even asking for autographs (for which Jaffe paused after a song to oblige).

Jaffe’s set included three separate acts, and the setlist featured some of his greatest hits, such as “Marigolds,” “Beach House,” “Better Than I Know Myself,” and closing out with “Ode to a Conversation Stuck in Your Throat.”

Ultimately, Jaffe gave an explosive and kaleidoscopic start to his headlining tour (which goes on through the spring). And if the crowd’s reaction was any indication, it’s safe to assume he maybe will, in fact, find his chimera on this tour.
