Lex Williams (she/her)
Lex Williams is a music writer and film critic, who shares her time between North Carolina and New York City. From a young age, Lex has always had a passion for arts in all its forms, having worked in numerous facets of the entertainment industry over the years, she has always had an affinity for music and theatre. She is part of North Carolina Film Critics Association and is a CherryPicks Approved critic. In her spare time, she enjoys meticulously caring for her expansive record collection, playing with her Yorkie mix, Dewey, and finding the perfect cup of matcha.
Nicole Ackman (she/her)
Nicole Ackman is a writer and public historian from North Carolina. She is also an RT-verified critic and member of GALECA and NCFCA. She has always been passionate about storytelling in all its forms. She enjoys Kenneth Branagh movies, any musical with a period setting, Bucky Barnes, books based on Reylo fanfiction, and her dog Theo (named after Vincent van Gogh’s brother).
Dan Bayer (he/him)
Dan Bayer is a non-profit professional by day and a film and theater critic by night. He fell in love with movies watching Singin’ In The Rain as a kid, and immediately started taking tap dance lessons. A veteran performer, he has done just about everything you can do in a theater both on and off stage. He has written for such sites as The Film Experience, Next Best Picture, and AwardsWatch. His favorite types of films are musicals and romances, and will see anything – ANYTHING – he can with crazy French actresses in it.
Hannah Ackman (she/her)
Hannah Ackman is a substitute teacher, nanny, and Party Princess. She is most often found hanging out at Barnes and Noble, riding her horse Hamlet, or dancing. She particularly enjoys any movie with Timothée Chalamet, contemporary musicals, and playing with her dog, Sylvie (named after the character in the Loki TV series).
Rhiannon Taylor (she/her)
Rhiannon Taylor turned a lifelong passion for stories into a career in the arts, initially working in Stage Management. She is based just outside of London, splitting her time between the city and the coast, where she lives with her dog, Dwight (named for the character in the Poldark.) She enjoys gothic horror, period dramas, and a steaming cup of Earl Grey tea.
